Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls
Family Adventure Starts at Great
Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls
A visit
to Niagara Falls conjures up visions of spectacular
cascades that weave some exciting water adventures into the
imagination.
This is why many tourists,
particularly those with their family in tow, book their
accommodations at Great Wolf Lodge Niagara
Falls.
The Lodge is one of the 12
indoor water-park chain of Great World Resorts Inc. whose
objective is to provide a fun vacation experience for all
members of the family.
At the Great Wolf water park at
Niagara
Falls, families will
have the choice of several suites that come in unique styles
and can comfortably accommodate four to eight
persons.
Aptly named “Wolf Den” suites
and designed to be the base camp for a family adventure to
remember, the Lodge accommodations feature cave-inspired
sleeping areas for kids.
Video games and flat-screen
LCD television are also provided for the children’s
enjoyment.
The adults of the den get a
queen bed and sofa bed and their own
TV.
Each suite has private
patio or balcony.
If the guests need a larger accommodation,
they can choose the “KidCabin” suite that can sleep up to
seven guests, and includes a log cabin as children’s
room.
Or for more traditional
accommodations, they can opt for the two-room Majestic Bear
suite offering luxurious comfort and privacy plus a bar one
television to each room. There’s also an option for a
two-level, eight-person Loft Fireplace suite with its own
living room, a gas fireplace and a private
balcony.
Included in the suites’ amenities are the
park passes to the Great Wolf Lodge Niagara
Falls water-park adventure facilities. For
the enjoyment of the entire family, the guests can
try Fort Mackenzie, a tree house-inspired water fort that is
four stories high and with 12 levels of water slides suited
to varying ages.
Or the whole gang can team up
or go solo floating lazily in Crystal River fed by half a
million liters of water.
There’s also a three-foot deep
activity pool wherein kids can shoot basketball or test
their balance with some inflatable
toys.
Small children have to be
accompanied by parents or guardians in this area.
Additionally, there are two whirlpool hot spas, one for
the entire family and another for guests from 18 years
and above.
For the more thrilling water rides,
teen-ager's will enjoy the Canada Vortex, a 40-foot
cannon-bowl drop. There’s a height limit though for this
ride which is 48 inches or taller. Other exhilarating
water rides are provided by Grizzly, Eagle and Bobcat,
tube slides that cover all of 1,100 feet of twisting and
turning both inside and outside Great Wolf Lodge Niagara
Falls before ending in a plunge
pool.
To ride the Grizzly, one
must be at least 48 inches tall, and for the Eagle and
Bobcat, at least 48 inches tall if going solo and at
least 42 inches tall if joined in the ride by an
adult.
For roller-coaster
excitement, there’s the Niagara Rapids Run that takes
riders sliding 727 feet including a 52-foot
drop.
As in the Grizzly, riders
have to be at least 48” tall to tackle the Rapids
Run.
